Olga was the founder and Director of the Seewall Child, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, which began in 2008 and went on the road 24/7/365 in 2014 with the Mobile EMSv Essential Mobile Service vehicle.
Seewall Child began by creating, building, and installing art-based interactive installations in Children’s Hospitals and abuse children centers creating a healing environment for children and their guardians. The caseworker would use these installations as a launching point and a calming tool to reach children in these times of anxiety and emotional stress.
Seewallchild went future and positioned itself as an art and mobile playground command center for children while serving healthy comfort foods. Seewallchild’s focus was going to low-income rural areas and communities that were creative deserts. Also, the EMSV would respond to disaster-hit situations places in the US. The EMSv was complete with free art & educational supplies, an Imagination Playground, sports equipment providing physical and mentally stimulating activities and comfort. The mobile kitchen serves only healthy and fun-packed meals. Seewall Child added the Imagination Playground to its program thanks to a grant given by KaBoom and Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group.
Using the Imagination Playground blocks, kids would build a new world every day. They make objects like animals, rocket ships, robots, and imaginary places like houses, factories, and cities. They make new dramatic scenarios, settings, and games to play. Most importantly, they make the rules. Because Imagination Playground is child-directed and open-ended, it encourages self-expression through deep, joyful play.
Due to the coronavirus, Seewall-Child had to close its doors for public safety for all.
Olga currently continues her work in Greece.
